End of Summer Sparkler

Fly with you everyone! As the Summer dwindles down and we prepare for Autumn and its festivities, there is yet one more celebration to be excited for! This year the End-of-Summer Sparkler will take place from August 31 through September 8.

The End-of-Summer Sparkler is an event held each year in Pixie Hollow by the Light-Talent fairies as a way to celebrate the end of a fun and eventful Summer. It marks the goodbye of Camp Pixie Dust until next year and is a way for fairy friends to get together before the Summer season comes to a close. It is usually hosted by Iridessa and is accompanied with a quest to help her set up last minute decorations for the celebration. Iridessa will also fly into Pixie Hollow multiple times during the event to greet fairies and chat. Acorn Summit and Springtime Orchard are also decorated with lanterns and are the main locations the celebration takes place.

Although we don't officially have an End-of-Summer Sparkler with a quest, we can still host sparkly celebrations in Acorn Summit and Springtime Orchard with the possible visit by Iridessa! Also, as a way of saying thank you for reading and for celebrating you can pick up your very own End-of-Summer Sparkler 2018 badge below!

In my mind I imagine this year's quest to involve pesky fireflies who have taken all of the lanterns for the celebration and hidden them so they can play with them. Iridessa needs your help, along with a few famous fairies, to track down the fireflies and the various locations around the Pixie Hollow map where they have hidden the lanterns in order to have the decorations up in time for the End-of-Summer Sparkler.

On a side note, I tried to edit my banner above to look like the original event banners from Pixie Hollow. Let me know what you think and if you like how it looks!

Thanks for flying by!
